Program Information
Leadership San Marcos is dedicated to providing opportunities to gain experience and knowledge to improve leadership ability and increase value for citizens. In eight full-day sessions, participants study the past, present and future needs of this community.
Community Involvment
Leadership San Marcos is making many noticeable differences in the community, not only by enhancing civic knowledge and leadership skills, but also through class projects. Since 1996, the majority of LMS classes have undertaken a project to benefit the community.
Alumni Association
The Alumni Association is a membership-based organization that allows past graduates access to regular lunch n learn sessions, special events and celebrations with past alumni.

Since its establishment in 1996, Leadership San Marcos has been a driving force for positive change in our community. Through its comprehensive program, participants enhance their civic knowledge and leadership skills while actively contributing to community projects. These initiatives, undertaken by the majority of LSM classes, address diverse needs within our city, leaving a lasting impact on residents’ lives.
Beyond the program, the Alumni Association ensures ongoing engagement and networking opportunities for past graduates. Through regular sessions and special events, alumni continue to learn and collaborate, furthering the mission of leadership and community development.
In essence, Leadership San Marcos empowers individuals to become effective leaders and agents of change, making a significant difference in our community’s present and future.
